What is Hair Follicle Drug Testing?
Hair testing is a process in which hair specimens are analyzed for illegal drugs. A Typical 5 Panel Drug Test will test for:
- Amphetamines including Methamphetamine
- Cocaine
- Marijuana
- Opiates including Codeine, Morphine, and Heroin
- Phencyclidine
When you choose hair samples, you are able to detect drug usage for a longer period of time. The only time limitation for detecting drug usage is imposed by the length of the donors hair. The industry standard is to test 1.5 inches of head hair for a 90 day history. In the case where there is no Head Hair available to test, then other body hair can be tested.
